Fred W. Palmer, 66, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at his home. He was born June 5, 1945, in Indianapolis, to the late Hamilton D. Palmer and Wilma (Koehler) Palmer Cline.
Fred graduated from Warren Central High School in 1963 and retired from Ford Motor Company after 35 years of service. He was a member of the UAW, Greenfield Masonic Lodge #101, Greenfield Christian Church, a lifetime member of Indiana Corriedale Association and the National Corriedale Association. His loves in life were his grandchildren, raising and showing sheep.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy (Williams) Palmer; daughter, Jennifer L. (Tom) Palmer; sons, Bill (Wendi) Palmer, Scott (Annette) Palmer; step-daughter, Nicole (Tony) Neumeister all of Greenfield; grandchildren, Jordyn, Justin, Canyen, Draven, Trevison, Savannah, Jada, Garrett, Kearsten and Tristen.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Scott Palmer.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield with Glenn Kimball officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
