Johney "Irene" (Matlock) Harvey, 83, of Anderson, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, after a brief illness.
She is survived by her husband, Lundy Harvey; children, Vivian Atkins, Glen (Jan) Howard, Regina (Dwaine) Jackson; step-son, Ronnie (Luisa) Harvey; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and their children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clint and Lillie Matlock; her brother, Gay Matlock; sister-in-law, Doris Matlock; son-in-law, Dale Atkins; and step-daughter, Judy McCardle.
Viewing will be from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, and one hour prior to the time of service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson. Rev. Gerald Burnett and Rev. Jim Lyon will officiate. Burial will be in Harlan Cemetery-Wilkinson.
