William E. Clark, Sr., 74, of Ingalls, died on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born Dec. 10, 1935, in Huntsville to the late Earl and Louise (Rumler) Clark.

William was a 1955 graduate of Fortville High School. He worked at Detroit Diesel Allison managing the print shop, retiring in 1992 after 38 years of service. Bill was the President of the Fall Creek Regional Waste District from 1975-99, a former member of the Trustee Board of Advisors for Green Township in Madison County, a member of Ingalls Christian Church, and a former member of the Board of Directors and Coach for the Pendleton Junior Baseball program.

He is survived by his wife, Jane (Morgan) Clark, whom he married on Aug. 24, 1957, at Castleton United Methodist Church in Indianapolis; son, William E. (Donna) Clark, Jr. of Noblesville; daughter, Kathy L. Clark of Alameda, Calif.; grandchildren, Sarah and Brandon Clark; sister, Nancy (Bill) Crosley of Ingalls; and brothers-in-law, Bob Smith of Ingalls and Jim Smith of Oaklandon.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov.4, 2010, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Huntsville Cemetery, Huntsville.
