INDIANA– The Girl Scouts of Central Indiana are partnering with Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson’s office to provide the “I Promised a Girl Scout I Would Vote” curriculum. This sponsorship will make it possible for all 25,000 Central Indiana Girl Scouts to complete the curriculum and earn the free patch during the months of September and October.

In earning the “I promised a Girl Scout I would vote” patch, Girl Scouts of all ages will gain a greater understanding of the election process, the importance of voting and what it means to be an active citizen.

Girl Scouts of Central Indiana’s partnership with the Secretary of State’s office began in 2015. Since then, the curriculum has evolved and is now being offered virtually.
