Area games postponed
Inclement weather forced local sporting events slated for Monday to be postponed. Events affected include:
New Palestine: Baseball at Whiteland, postponed to Thursday; golf vs. Triton Central (makeup date TBA)
Greenfield-Central: Tennis vs. Warren Central, rescheduled for Wednesday; golf at Grandview (makeup date TBA); softball at Delta, rescheduled for today
Mt. Vernon: Golf at Yorktown (makeup date TBA); baseball vs. Beech Grove, rescheduled for Thursday; softball vs. New Castle, rescheduled to April 26
Eastern Hancock: Baseball at Lapel, softball at Hamilton SE, tennis at Anderson Prep (makeup dates TBA)

Royals participate in all-star game
Eastern Hancock basketball coaches and players took part in Saturday’s Tri-Eastern Conference vs. Mid-Eastern Conference All-Star games at Northeastern High School.
Royals coach Aaron Spaulding coached the MEC seniors, who lost 69-66. Eastern Hancock assistant coach Brett Bechtel coached the TEC All-Stars juniors to a 60-48 win.
Eastern Hancock’s Addison True scored 14 points for the MEC seniors, and Tyler Castle scored three. A.J. Muegge also was named to the seniors team.
On the juniors side, Eastern Hancock’s Peyton Gray scored four points. Skyler Schrope also was named to the team.

Corrections
•Information in the special publication celebrating the season of the state champion Morristown basketball team was incorrect. Brady Adkins was identified as the leading scorer in school history, but Adkins only played his sophomore through senior years at Morristown, scoring 2,112 points at the school. Hayden Langkabel should have been listed as the school’s all-time leading scorer with his 2,186 points.
•Two softball photos had a player misidentified on the Daily Reporter website following Friday’s game between Columbus East and Mt. Vernon. Wearing No. 20 for Mt. Vernon is Riley Hasseld, who was misidentified in several photos online.
