Sheila Kay Rawlins, 70, of Knightstown, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born October 29, 1947, in New Castle, the daughter of John Henry and Stella (Egan) Butler.

Sheila was a retired beautician, had worked at Cat Logistics in Greenfield for 10 years and the Knightstown Locker for 18 years. She was a member of the Rose City Riders, enjoyed traveling and she and Richard visited all 48 states on motorcycles. She loved animals and had even raised deer and foxes. Sheila loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Sheila is survived by her husband of 52 years, John “Richard” Rawlins of Knightstown; one daughter, Kimberly (Rick) Hoebel of Lafayette; a son, John Richard “Scott” (Amy) Rawlins of Carthage; grandchildren, Katherine Breanne Stump, Terrie Rawlins and Britney Hoebel; great grandson, Corbin Wilson; siblings: Carl (Ruth) Butler, Hayden Butler, Charlene (Paul) Jensen and Harold (Janet) Butler all of Knightstown; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Ray Butler, Johnny Butler, Letha Redmon, Noami Jackson, Leon Butler, Arnold Butler and Richard Butler.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2018, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Richard Thayer officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
