NEW PALESTINE, IN
Eva Geraldine (Moore) Berry, 92, of New Palestine, IN, has now shed the pain on January 6, 2018 at about 9:15 AM, life left her body and her soul joined Jesus and our previously departed. Eva was born January 26, 1925, in New Palestine, IN, to Guy Skillman Moore and Vera (Murphy) Moore.
Eva was a graduate of New Palestine High School. After completing her education, she worked for many years as an Assistant Director for the DNR until the time of her retirement. Eva loved to cook and bake for her loved ones, who will all miss the special dishes and laughter they shared with her. She was a steadfast member of her community and family, and found that her greatest joy in life was the time she spent with those that she loved.
Eva is survived by her son, Mike (Gretchen) Dellekamp; daughter-in-law, Toni Dellekamp; granddaughter, Heather (Adam) Jones; grandson, Josh Dellekamp; granddaughter, Heidi Dellekamp; great-grandchildren, Blaize & Haizle Jones; niece, Lu Ann Mattingly; and nephew, Kevin Ruschhaupt.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
The visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, from 1:00-4:00 PM at Hendryx Mortuary, 19 E. Main St., New Palestine, IN 46163. Memorial Service will be at 4:00 PM following visitation.
