Footlite’s ‘Brooklyn’ brings the audience on stage

‘Greater Tuna’ showcases small town Texas life

‘Joseph’ in its final weekend at Civic Theatre

CARMEL — “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” is the reimagining of the biblical story of Joseph who was sold into Egyptian slavery by his 11 brothers, but found favor in the Egyptian court for his ability to interpret dreams. The Elvis-style Pharaoh makes Joseph his right-hand man which is where he is when his father Jacob comes to find him. “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” opens Friday at the Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre, 3 Center Green, and runs through Jan. 7.
