GREENFIELD
Sheila Amanda (Morelock) Creech, 71, of Greenfield, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in New Port Richey, FL.
She was a beautiful lady, a wonderful wife, an excellent mother and grandmother, and she loved her family.
She was born on March 27, 1946 in Derby, VA as the daughter of Bernie R. and Myrtle S. (Buchanan) Morelock. Sheila married Curtis E. Creech on March 13, 1964 in Harlan, KY.
She worked for Greenfield Banking Company for 12 years as a bank teller. Sheila attended River of Praise Church of God in New Port Richey, FL. She enjoyed playing cards, especially canasta, playing bingo and dancing and being with her friends. She loved spending time with her family. Sheila was a ray of happiness and peace and had the ability to make everyone’s life a little brighter.
Sheila will be deeply missed by her husband of 53 years, Curt Creech; three wonderful children, Sherry (Brian) Ballard, Ron (Marsha) Creech and Steve (Kim) Creech; nine grandchildren, Dalton, Savannah, Zeke, Luca, Beth, Ben, Keely, Kaitlyn and Lakota; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernie and Myrtle Morelock; two brothers; and one sister.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 1:00 p.m. Ron Schubert will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
