FORTVILLE, IN
James C. Hunt, 63, of Fortville, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at his home. He was born January 24, 1954 in Greenfield, IN to the late Carl and Margaret (Patrick) Hunt.
James enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards. He was a 1972 Mt. Vernon High School graduate and had worked for Commercial Sewer in Indianapolis.
James is survived by children: Barry (Danielle) Asher of Pendleton and Cory (Steve) Clear of Fortville; grandchildren: Storm Hunt, Ella and Harper Asher; sisters: Jackie Shultz of Fortville; Judy (Aron) Chapman of Greenfield and Jill (Doug) Klesner of Indianapolis; brother: Darry Hunt.
He was preceded in death by brother David Hunt and sister Sherry Denger.
The family will host an open house to receive friends from 3 to 5 pm on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Fortville American Legion Park 10609 IN-13, Fortville, IN 46040. A celebration of Jim’s life will begin at 5:00 pm at the park.
