GREENFIELD — County students are invited to plays hosted by the Hancock County Historical Society.

Performers from the Indiana State Museum will present two 20-minute plays at 3 p.m. Sept. 24 at the historical society museum, 28 Apple St., Greenfield.

One play is based on Elwood Hayes, one of the earliest designers of the automobile and a Hoosier native. The other play is called “Sully, the Irish Canal Worker.”

The event is free and open to the public; donations are appreciated. Students from fourth grade to 12th grade are encouraged to attend.
