To the editor:
Michael Adkins (“A Low Point,” Sept. 2, A4) said it better than I’ve ever heard it said — those white supremacists went to Charlottesville “to refute the words of Thomas Jefferson.”
What a wonderfully concise way to keep things like that in historical perspective.
