‘West Side Story’ stages romance in New York City

INDIANAPOLIS — Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” finds its way to New York City in “West Side Story,” as two young lovers — Maria and Tony — struggle to survive in a world of hate, gang violence and prejudice.
