GREENFIELD — The latest Greenfield Elks 1720 Stand Down 17 event, free to all veterans, takes place from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 820 S. State St.

Veterans are welcome to attend and receive computer training and assistance on E-Benefits and My Health, two Veterans Administration websites. There will be a Veterans Administration-certified attorney available for legal questions and guidance.

Hancock County Veterans Service Officer Bob Workman will be available to discuss veterans’ benefits. There will be a Disabled American Veterans representative for further assistance. The Elks are committed to serve all veterans, and they open their lodge the second Saturday of the month as a gathering home for veterans.
