The New Palestine girls golf team continued its hot streak, defeating Noblesville with its lowest nine-hole round score this season.

The Dragons beat the host Miller 177-189 on Thursday afternoon as sophomore Annaliese Fox posted the team’s lowest score for a fourth consecutive meet.

Fox and senior Mackenzi Black both turned in 37s to lead the Dragons, who improved to 3-0 in dual meets. Izzy Gray shot a 48, and Regina Olsen had a 55.

The Dragons ran their season record to 2-0 on Thursday, winning a dual with Greenwood 179-206.

Fox was the low Dragon shooting a 2-under par 34 over nine holes at Hawk’s Tail of Greenfield. Fox shot four birdes en route to her low round on the Dragons’ home course, which earned her medalist honors.

Black shot a 38 to give the Dragons a solid 1-2 punch. Gray fired a 53, and Regina Olsen had a 54.

The Dragons compete in the Lapel Invitational today.
