An article in the Thursday edition (“Crowding,” A1) contained incorrect information. Hancock County will pay LaGrange County $35 a day for every inmate transferred there. The funding comes from the Indiana Department of Correction to help counties cover the cost associated with housing Level 6 felony offenders. Hancock County will also be required to foot the bill for any medical attention inmates receive while staying in LaGrange County. The Daily Reporter regrets the error.
