David H. Harper, 63, of Fortville, died March 8, 2017, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born December 23, 1953, in Sparta, Tenn., to William R. and Lillie (Stewart) Harper.
He is survived by wife, Lila (Petty) Harper whom he married June 1, 2001; daughter, Rachel (Brian) Woodward of Mooresville; son, John David Harper; grandson Brody Woodward; stepson, Shawn Wilson; brothers, Ronnie (LaVonne) Harper, Ricky Harper and Steve (Bonnie) Harper and sisters, Mildred Pharris and Joyce Eubank.
David was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bobby, Ray, PeeWee, Roger and Wayne Harper.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. Memorial services will be held for David at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, at the funeral home.
