To the editor:
I hope today (“Former coach pleads guilty,” Oct. 18, B2) is the last time you feel the need to run a story repeating the same details concerning Sharon Doud. Having known her for several years, I feel that this incident was totally out of character from what I’ve known. I realize she is to be a role model — she’s a teacher — and pled guilty, but I counted a minimum of six articles stating the same things. Would you do the same if it were one of your reporters? I don’t condone her actions, but she didn’t deserve to be crucified by the press.
