ANGOLA — A McCordsville student at Trine University recently won first place in the business category at the Innovation Challenge Expo.

Great Stats was sponsored by senior Luke Fimreite, a business administration major from McCordsville, and developed by senior informatics majors Fletcher Davidson of Seymour, Rachel Morris of Beech Grove, Tony Waltermann of Greenwood and Brandon Hunt of Elkhart.

Great Stats is sports recording software created for colleges and high schools. The software features more updated coding and an easier-to-use interface than other products currently available, according to a news release.
