Norman M. Noe, age 72 of Brown County, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. He was born November 14, 1943, in Huntington Park, Calif., to the late Harold and Ruth “Norma” (Stricker) Noe.
Norman was a 1961 graduate of Greenfield High School and later served in the Army National Guard. He would then marry the love of his life Debbie in 1975. Norman loved photography, boating and fishing. He was also an avid hot rod fan and was a member of the Broke Bunch Car Club in Franklin and the ISRA. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and was a member of the Harley-Davidson HOG Chapter in Bloomington. He was an avid golfer and member of the former Greenfield Country Club. He was a member of the Greenfield Elks Lodge, NRA, and a lifetime member of American Water Works. Norman received his pilot’s license from Pope Field in Greenfield and loved piloting private aircrafts.
He was also the owner and operator of Norman Noe Company, Inc.
Norman is survived by his wife, Debbie Noe of Brown County; daughter, Tara (Brad) Noe-Armstrong of New Palestine; sister, Doris (Mike) Parnell; granddaughters, Shelby and Sydney Armstrong, both of New Palestine; and nephew, Kent (Tasha) Davis.
He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Kristina Noe.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2016, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. A funeral service will be held at
1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial immediately following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
Following the burial the family invites everyone to join them for a Celebration of Life Gathering from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Hawks Tail Golf Club in Greenfield, 145 S. Morristown Pike, Greenfield, IN 46140.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to the Cordry/Sweetwater Vol. Fire Department, 101 Firehouse Rd. Nineveh, IN 46164.
