Dorothy Kaufman, 92, of the Shirley-Wilkinson area died Wednesday morning, April 6, 2016, at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was born November 2, 1923, in Orange Co. Ind., the daughter of the late Webster and Mattie Patton.
Survivors include her daughter, Judith Ann Belyea of North Port, Fla.; son, Ronald (Jean) Kaufman of New Castle; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul Kaufman in 1991; brother, Curtis Patton; sisters, Velma Grass, Mary Hasseld.
Friends may call at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New Castle with Pastor Bill Chamberlin officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
