Vera J. (Brooks) Merchant, 93, of Knightstown, died Friday, March 18, 2016. She was born March 14, 1923, in Henry County, to the late Robert E. and Emma (McCorkle) Brooks.
Vera is survived by her two sons, Jim and Terry Merchant both of Knightstown.
In addition to her parents, Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Merchant in 2001.
Friends may call from 5-7p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 and from 10a.m. until Noon on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, prior to the service. Services will be at Noon on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Curt Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
