GREENFIELD — Several scholarships are available for Hancock County residents through Tri Kappa Sorority, Upsilon Chapter.

There are four $1,000 scholarships for graduating high school seniors, as well as two $500 scholarships for adult female students. Scholarships must be used at an accredited college in the state of Indiana or at an acceptable technical or vocational school in Indiana.

High school seniors may contact their high school guidance counselor to receive an application to apply. Applications for the high school scholarships must be postmarked on or before March 15 to the Tri Kappa Scholarship Chair listed on the application.

Female adults, 25 years or older, are eligible for the Strawmyer-Pickett Memorial Scholarship and the Helen Roath Memorial Scholarship.

The Strawmyer-Pickett Memorial Scholarship applications may be requested from Scholarship Chair, Candy Short via email at [email protected]. The application for the Helen Roath Memorial Scholarship is available online through the Hancock County Community Foundation website givehcgrowhc.org.

Applications for the Helen Roath Memorial Scholarship are due to the Foundation by March 1, 2016.
