McDaniel picked as council president
GREENFIELD — The Greenfield City Council has a new leader.
Gary McDaniel, who represents District 1, was chosen by his peers Wednesday night to serve as the council’s president in 2016.
McDaniel was the only councilman nominated for the position. He’s serving his second term on the council.
The city council met Wednesday for its first meeting of the year with three new councilmen: Dan Riley, Joe Skvarenina and Jeff Lowder.
