Humbug!” opinion of Christmas. But when Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former business partner and three Christmas spirits, he gets a second shot at life — just in time for Christmas. Theatre on the Square
INDIANAPOLIS — Theatre on the Square, 627 Massachusetts Ave., presents “A Christmas Story,” Hoosier humorist Jean Shepherd’s 1940s holiday tale of 9-year-old Ralphie Parker in his quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas. All the elements from the motion picture are part of the production. The show runs through Dec. 20.
On the cabaret stage, the eight reindeer dish about the real Santa in “The 8 Reindeer Monologues.” All those rumors you’ve heard about him and the elves? About Rudolph’s little secret?
