Day of service brought joy to local couple
To the editor:
We are so grateful to the 10 employees from NineStar Connect who offered to help at our house for a day in October. What a blessing they were to us! It was hard, hard work, and it was all completed in one day’s time. They worked hard and cheerfully. “Thank you” was insufficient word for us to say.
I understand they have eight other teams helping not only families but organizations that needed helping hands that same day. This is the second year they have done this, and they were all happy for the opportunity to give to others.
We just want Hancock County folks to know how fortunate we are to live in this caring community, especially we “senior citizens,” as we slow down a lot as we age!
