Educational opportunties offered for 4-H participants

HANCOCK COUNTY — The 4-H youth development office is hosting several conferences area residents are invited to attend.

At the conferences, participants will learn about the three 4-H principles — science, citizenship and healthy living — through hands-on demonstrations. For more information, contact the Hancock County office of Purdue Extension at 317-462-1113.

Upcoming dates and locations for the conferences are:

• Nov. 21: Marshall County Government Building, 112 W. Jefferson St., Plymouth

• Dec. 9: Discovery Hall, Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1202 E. 38th St., Indianapolis

• Jan. 23: The Jackson County Learning Center, 323 Dupont Dr., Seymour
