Library to host spelling bee for adults

GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Adult Literacy Coalition’s 26th annual Spelling Bee will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road in Greenfield.

Watch teams of four go head to head, spelling words aloud during the friendly competition, which is co-sponsored by the coalition and the library.

Team registration fees from the bee fund the Peg Strickland Scholarship for a student who has graduated from the Learning Center and is pursuing a secondary education.
