Author, teacher to speak at retired educators event
HANCOCK COUNTY — The Hancock County Retired Teachers Association will meet at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday at Ponderosa, 1585 N. State St., Greenfield.
The meeting will begin with lunch and visiting at 11 a.m. The program will start at 11:45 a.m.
Author Jeanne Nordstrom, who taught for 41 years in four different states, will present the program.
The Kenneth Butler Memorial Soup Kitchen is the community service project for the meeting.
Members are asked to bring book donations for the ongoing book project, as well as collected shoes to be donated in the county.
All retired teachers who live or have taught in Hancock County are welcome.
