Hancock Boys & Girls Club hosting fundraiser event

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Hancock County is hosting the Inaugural Racing for Kids at New Castle Motorsports Park on Aug. 26.

There will 60 drivers from 15 area businesses participating in the event from 5 to 8 p.m. The public is invited to attend, and admission is free.

The team entrants are: Greenfield Banking, Dellen, Inskeep Ford, Kemper CPA, Dave Sego Builders, Dr Pepper, Farm Bureau Insurance, Ro’s Bar and Grill, Miller Eads Electric, Service Master, Racing for Kids team, Gray Auto, Brand and Morelock, and the Daily Reporter.

Wayne Addison will emcee the event.

Cougar Value Cards are now available

The Greenfield-Central High School athletics department has Cougar Value Cards available for purchase.

The cards cost $10, with all proceeds going to benefit Greenfield-Central High School athletics. The values associated with the card run until Sept. 1, 2016.

Fall athletes and the athletics office are selling the cards.
