GREENFIELD — An oil painting by Gene Larue of Greenfield, “The Old Neighborhood,” has been selected for display as part of the Hoosier Salon 91st Annual Exhibition, Indiana’s longest-running art exhibition.

The exhibit is on display at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center in Indianapolis through Sept. 26.

The exhibition features 153 works and is considered the best of Indiana art by Indiana artists.

Five hundred works were submitted for this year’s exhibition. To be eligible to enter, artists had to be a current Indiana resident or have lived in Indiana previously for at least a year.
