Prep baseball league relaunches this month

The High School Fall Baseball League will relaunch again this year, beginning Aug. 23.

The league is a network of 20 high school wood bat fall leagues throughout Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky that compete Sundays.

Each league plays a six-week regular season which includes a League Championship Tournament. League championship teams earn a berth into the HSFBL Championship Tournament to compete for the HSFBL title.

The league culminates with the tournament and All-Star Exposure Games in October in Indianapolis.

Each league also plays a College Game Day at a partner college during the regular season. Players will receive a wood bat from the Hoosier Bat Company, a team Dri-fit game jersey and a free college player profile.

The HSFBL is open to all incoming 2015 high school players (2016-19 graduates).

Registration will be accepted through Aug. 17. To register, go to hsfbl.com.
