Atomic bomb history subject of special library presentation

HANCOCK COUNTY — In remembrance of the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, retired science teacher Darry Hood will present the story of the atomic bomb from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, Greenfield.

At the event, hear true stories surrounding the weapon, from the discovery of radiation to the bombings at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
