Ann Holmes-Chapman, 92 of Greenfield passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 at Golden Living Center, Greenfield. Ann was born April 13, 1922, in Jackson Township, Hancock County to the late O.  Russell Haney and Zatha J. (Lewis) Fletcher.

She was a 1940 graduate of Greenfield High School and later married Earl E. Holmes. Ann was a homemaker, a member of Bradley United Methodist Church, active in the Bradley U.M.C. Hilltoppers and a longtime volunteer for Hancock Regional Hospital. She was a proud 14 year breast cancer survivor.

She is survived by children, David (Lin) Holmes of New Palestine, Jane (Mike) Walker of Winter Haven, Fla., Debbie Sample-Kuntz of Indianapolis; stepbrother, Richard Fletcher of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Mark Walker, Kevin Holmes, Andy Holmes, Katie (Sample) Bateman, Lauren (Sample) Roszell and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, John I. Fletcher; husband, Earl E. Holmes in 1989; husband, Rev. Raymond R. Chapman in 2001; brother, Neil Haney and stepbrother, Charles Fletcher.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday Jan. 15, 2015, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday Jan. 16, 2015, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
