Mary Louise Weber, 79, went to be with the lord on Dec. 29, 2014, at the Franklin United Methodist Community. The daughter of the late Wallace Murnan Weber and Mildred Mae Parish Weber. Mary was born Nov. 26, 1935, at the family farm near Charlottesville, Hancock County, Ind., where she was a lifelong resident with the exception of the past several years, after which she first resided in Greenfield and then the Franklin United Methodist Community at Franklin, Ind.

Mary lived with and cared for her parents on the family farm until they were both deceased. She had a long career as a nurse’s aide at Greenfield Hancock Memorial Hospital and retired from there after 38 years of providing loving care to her patients. She is a past member of the Nameless Creek Literary Club. Mary enjoyed her service in the Eastern Star and was a member for over 50 years.

Mary is survived by her younger sister Martha, her husband Bud of Whiteland, Ind., and their two children Lynn and Dexter and their families. She is also survived by her youngest sibling, her brother Glen and his wife Ginny of Danville, Calif., her nephew Tim, his wife Queenya, and a grandniece, Haley of Huntington Beach, Calif., and also her niece, Rachel of San Francisco, Calif..

Visitation will be held in the Chapel at Franklin United Methodist Community 1070 W. Jefferson Street, Franklin, IN 46131 from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at Franklin United Methodist Community at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 , with internment immediately following at Greenfield Park Cemetery where Mary will be laid to rest next to her mother and father.
