Elizabeth “Betty” Payne, 82, of Greenfield, passed away Nov. 21, 2014. Betty was born to the late Rev. Alfred and Virginia Beale on Dec. 2, 1931.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Celeste (Dwight) Wheeler, Nancy (James) Quick; sons, Al (Lisa) Moore, Michael (Mary) Moore; brothers, Donald, Delbert, Dallas Johnston; sister, Wanda Johnston; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by a son, Joseph Moore, Jr.; daughter, Shirley (Roger) Lovelace; brothers, Lyle and Darrell Johnston; and sister, Edna Tivis.
Visitation will be held 5 – 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25th, at Indiana Funeral Care & Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26th, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Washington Park East.
