Vonda M. Keesling, 74, of Greenfield, formerly of New Castle, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014, at Kindred Transitional Care in Greenfield. She was born Aug. 27, 1939, in Shirley and is the daughter of the late George A. and Naomi (Koons) Darling.
She was a homemaker and a member of the By His Grace Ministries of Anderson.
Surviving include two daughters, Deb (Gene) Miller of New Castle, Kathy (John) Riley of Butlerville; a son, George Keesling of Indianapolis; daughter-in-law, Debbie Keesling of Greenfield; nine grandchildren and 12 great -grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Keesling; a son, Raymond Keesling; two sisters, Jenna Lee Sorrell and Norma Jean Darling and a great -granddaughter, Kayley Day.
Friends will be received from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson on Thursday, April 17, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 18, 2014, at the funeral home with Sue Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Hedricksburg Cemetery in Shirley.
