Majorie Ruth Guillaume Coon, 88, quietly passed away on Jan. 23, 2014, at Kindred Care in Greenfield. She was born on May 19, 1925, in Peru, Ind.
Marjorie married Earl T. Coon on July 4, 1942. Marjorie loved her family and enjoyed working at Sears in Logansport and Belks in Orlando, Fla.
She is survived by her sister, Linda Sale Dowell of Orlando, Fla. and nephew, Nyles (Nancy) Brown, of Macy; children, Pamela ( Larry) Cover of St. George, Utah, Rex (Joyce) Coon of Fort Wayne, Steve (Ann) Coon of New Palestine and Loren (Christina) Coon of Logansport; nine grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren and two great- great- grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband; her parents, Floyd Guillaume and Eva Guillaume Robinson; sister, Betty Brown and brother, Robert Guillaume.
Vistation will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at Hendryx Mortuary, Cumberland. Interment will be at Noon on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico, Ind.
