Charlotte I. (Ebbert) Rumple
Charlotte I. (Ebbert) Rumple, 85, of Knightstown, died Thursday morning, August 1, 2013, at The New Rural Health Care in Indianapolis. She was born February 26, 1928, in Shelbyville, the daughter of the late Chancy and Audrey (Sumpter) Mummert.
Survivors include her three sons, Martin (Pam) Ebbert of Shirley, Lewis (Jill) Ebbert of Greenfield, and Randall (Kris) Ebbert of Knightstown; daughter, Anita (Kedric) Wallace of Spiceland; two brothers, Tommy Mummert of Carthage and Charles (Linda) Robert of Knightstown; two sisters, Edna (Barry) of Fredricks, N.C. and Janet (Swick) of Wyoming; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Beverly Riddle; brother, Richard Mummert; sister, Ruth Clark; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 5 – 8 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, Ind. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the funeral home with Gary Sickle officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
