Billie L. (Meyers) Sturgill
Billie L. (Meyers) Sturgill, 79, of Greenfield, died Monday, May 27, 2013, at Kindred Healthcare in Greenfield. Born on March 4, 1934, in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Edward and Helen Mae (Harvey) Meyers.
Billie graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in Dayton. She married Isaac Sturgill on July 5, 1972, and they were married until his death in 2007. Mrs. Sturgill worked as a surgery technician at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton for 17 years, and also at Hancock Regional Hospital for 13 years, after moving to Greenfield. She attended Park Chapel Christian Church and loved to crochet and create flower arrangements.
Surviving her are her children, Kimberlee (Ted) Jackson of Greenfield, Dawn (Gene Enburg) Campbell of Prince Frederick, Md., and Charles (Gloria) Sturgill of Glenburnie, Md.; 2 grandchildren, Lenny and Jesse Enburg.
Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; son, Brian D. Profitt; and brother, Edward Raymond Meyers, Jr.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, May 31, at the mortuary with calling one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
