Virginia Mildred “Millie” Coleman
Virginia Mildred “Millie” Coleman, 89, New Palestine, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at home. Millie was born Feb. 10, 1924, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Urias and Lula (Todd) Faubion.
She graduated from the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and was a nurse in Dayton, Ohio; Tuscon, Ariz., and at Kaiser Hospital in Calif. for 17 years. She was also a nurse at the VA Hospital in Indianapolis and at Hancock Regional Hospital.
She is survived by her lifelong friend, Betty Lou Espich; her family; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Merle, Homer and Don; sisters Marie Walter and Mary Faubion.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the New Palestine Cemetery.
