Ronald E. “Ronnie” Bell, 55, of Lewisville Ind., died on Tuesday Oct. 23, 2012, at Select Specialty Hospital in Beech Grove. Ronnie was born in New Castle, on June 11, 1957.
Survivors include his wife, Penny L. (O’Dell) Bell; mother and stepfather, Mary (Sharp) and Ronald Pierce of New Castle; six children, Jennifer Jesse of Chicago, Ronnie Bell II of Muncie, James Bell of Lewisville, Tammy Long of Cambridge City, Anna Cooper of Indianapolis, Steve Boyles of Greenwood; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Junior and David Rose of New Castle; 2 sisters, Joyce Stevens of Lewisville and Sheila Simpson of Rushville; stepfather, Willie Rose of Sexton; and several nieces and nephews.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, James Bell; and stepmother, Connie Rose.
Graveside services will be at noon on Friday Oct. 26, 2012, at the New Lisbon Cemetery in New Lisbon, Ind. Pastor Junior Rose will officiate. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
