Logan Michael Scroggins, 22, of Indianapolis, passed away on Oct. 21, 2012. Born on April 18, 1990, in Greenfield, he was the son of Scott Scroggins and Kelly (Walls) Copeland.

Logan graduated from Franklin Central High School in 2008 and also attended Central 9 Career Center for Indiana EMT & Firefighter I/II certification. He was a 2012 graduate of Community Health Network Paramedic program. Logan worked for the Greenwood Fire Department as a Firefighter/Paramedic. He was an outdoorsman who loved kids and was the strong, silent type. He was family oriented, good-hearted, and loved to play practical jokes.

He is survived by his parents, Kelly Copeland of Indianapolis, and Scott (Cori) Scroggins of Greenfield; siblings, Courtney Piland, Carli Copeland, and Emma and Luke Scroggins; grandparents, Ralph Scroggins of Greenfield, Connie Cole of Greenfield, Keith and Brenda Harrison of Bedford, and Diana Walls of Indianapolis; girlfriend, Savana Scott of Indianapolis; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Preceding him in death was his sister, Kylee Scroggins.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012. Pastor Danny Curry and Chaplain Bob Anderson will be officiating. Burial will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
