John W. Vaughn, 89, of Pendleton, died Oct. 10, 2012 at St. John’s Medical Center in Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, June (Crysell) Vaughn of Pendleton; three children, Jim (Penny) Vaughn of Pendleton, Lana J. Fisher of Middletown and Dede (Ron) Hersberger of Pendleton; two sisters, Thelma Cummings of Greencastle and Gail Kline of Granger; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Anna Mae (Cadwell) Vaughn; and 10 siblings.
Visitation was from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton. Services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton, with Mark Nunley officiating. Burial followed at Mendon Cemetery.
