Lenora O. Mowrey, age 85, of Indianapolis died on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Community Hospital North. Born October 29, 1925 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Arthur Howard and Elva Ernestine (Wirsching) Wigent.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen A. (Timothy) Schultz of Brookston; son, Cris A. (Jean) Mowrey of Wilmington, N.C.; sister, Betty (Tom) Douglas of Sarasota, Fla; grandchildren, Dori (Rob) Allen of Frankfort, Shane Schultz of Angola, Rachel (Tom) Thowe of McCordsville, Daniel Mowrey of Raleigh, N.C. and Emily (Nate) Bradley of Williamsburg, Va; great-grandchildren, Madelyn Allen of Frankfort, Wyatt, Cooper and Duane Bradley of Williamsburg, Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and infant daughter, Kieta Jo.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 1, 2011, at McCordsville United Methodist Church, McCordsville, Ind. with burial at Union Township Cemetery, Coesse.
