Ruth M. Oliver, age 95, of Fortville, died on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at Kindred Healthcare in Greenfield. She was born June 26, 1915, in Terre Haute to the late Frederick Arnold and Nell Lucretia (Brown) Monts.
She is survived by her sister, Rose Acrea of Plainfield; and nine step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester O. Oliver; infant daughter, Lynda Lou Oliver; sister, Dorothy Wilhite; brother, John Monts; and stepchildren, Gloria Lewis, Sylvia Faye Brown, and Lloyd Lester Oliver.
Friends may call from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb.18, 2011, at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fortville. A celebration of Ruth’s life will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Washington Park Cemetery East, Indianapolis.
