‘UNDER REVIEW’: District apologizes after student with autism sent home to empty house
MT. VERNON – The Mt. Vernon Community School Corp. has apologized after a father complained that school staff failed to respond with urgency or empathy when his 7-year-old autistic son was mistakenly sent home on a bus to an empty house.
