Pennsy Trail work days scheduled
GREENFIELD – Volunteers are needed to spruce up the Pennsy Trail this spring.
This Saturday, trail management of native wildflowers and trees will take place from 9 a.m. to noon April 6 at the 400 West Wildlife Habitat at Eagle Station. Honeysuckle will be cleared April 20, and a work day at the Monarch Waystation just west of Washington Village Apartments is coming up April 27. Visit pennsytrails.org to sign up and connect.
Donations accepted for summer camp program
GREENFIELD – Nameless Creek Camp is accepting donations to help students get a summer camp experience.
The Plug Into Nature Camp will be July 8-12, offering children entering third through fifth grades a five-day experience with nature exploration, arts and crafts, sports and more. Heroes for Health run April 27
FORTVILLE – The first Heroes for Health 5K/1M Fun Run/Walk is coming up April 27.
The event is hosted by Mt. Vernon schools and the Mt. Vernon Education Foundation, and is designed to champion the mental health and overall well-being of students and staff. All proceeds benefit the foundation’s Tony May Legacy Fund, a resource for mental health and wellness programs within the school community.

FUSE to host bowling fundraiser
GREENFIELD – A bowling fundraiser coming up this month will benefit Families United for Support and Encouragement.
The 16th annual Strike a Difference for FUSE Bowl-a-thon is at 5 p.m. April 27 at Strike Force Lanes, 1539 W. Main St., Greenfield.
