Read-aloud features Bible’s book of Exodus

CUMBERLAND — The monthly community Bible read-aloud series continues at Heather Hills Baptist Church with the book of Exodus, which tells about Moses and the Hebrews leaving bondage in Egypt.

Readers covered one third of the book in January and the next third in February. The plan is to read the last third in March. The Bible read-alouds typically last an hour; it would take 2 hours, 51 minutes, to read the entire book of Exodus in one sitting.

Reading of that last third of Exodus will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday (March 25) and again at noon Monday and 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Church leaders say anyone is welcome to come join in the reading, or simply listen. The church is located at 1421 N. German Church Road, Indianapolis.
