ANDERSON
Tamara Lynn (Price) Hoagland, 57, Anderson, IN, passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2023. Tammy was born on June 21, 1965, in Indianapolis, to Herbert Layton and Mary Ann (Walker) Price. She is a 1983 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. She also attended and graduated with her BSN from IUPUI, School of Nursing, in 1988.
Tammy relished in taking care of others. She worked the night shift at Community East Hospital as a cardiac critical care registered nurse for many years. She then transitioned to Community Fairbanks Recovery Center. Through her years of being a nurse, Tammy supported the phrase of “Service before Self.” She became emotional support to many friends and neighbors. She was a social butterfly, quite the talker, a night owl, a memorable birthday party host, and one whom always ran fashionably late. She loved flower gardening, crafting, and collecting photographic memories. HOPE was her slogan. She was very spiritual and of the Catholic faith.
Tammy is survived by her mother, Mary Ann (Charles Jr. “Chuck” “Wally”) Callahan; her loving children: Emily (Caleb) Paugh, Samuel Hoagland, and Maxwell (Shelby) Hoagland; sister, Bettina “Tina” Riddle; and grandchildren, Bentley Paugh and Henry Paugh.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Layton Price.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish at Geist, 10350 Glaser Way, Fishers, IN.
